Hi, I’m Raels and I have always been fascinated by aquariums and the beauty of the underwater world. As a young girl, my dad introduced me to the hobby and I was captivated by the magnificent angel fish he kept. Later in life, my twin boys expressed an interest in keeping fish, and what started out as a small fish tank quickly turned into a full-blown breeding program and a massive hobby for me.
It's All About Soul
I particularly love the creativity of aquascaping and find immense joy and fulfilment in creating stunning underwater landscapes. But like any hobby, aquascaping has its challenges. I have faced tough tap water conditions and struggled to understand the water cycling process at times. I have also learned the hard way that beautiful aquascapes don’t always equal sturdy ones. And of course, there is the constant battle with algae, which has required a lot of research and experimentation to control.
However, the challenges have been more than worth it for the moments of triumph and growth I have experienced as an aquascaper. I was amazed by the stunning plant growth I achieved when I switched to a high-tech setup with CO2 injection, and I take great satisfaction in creating beautiful aquascapes that bring happiness to me and my family.
